Abstract

"PROCESSO E APARELHO APERFEIçOADOS PARA A FLUTUAçãO DE ESPUMA". Um processo para flutuação de espuma tipicamente usado para separar materiais particulados tal como carvão, tem uma alimentação de tamanho misturado (1) separada em uma curva de peneira (2) em uma corrente de partículas relativamente finas (3) e uma corrente de partículas relativamente grossas (14). As partículas finas são alimentadas para uma célula de flutuação (7) na maneira normal, enquanto as partículas grossas são misturadas com a água de lavagem (16) e distribuídas sobre ou na camada da espuma (10) por aparelho de distribuição da água de lavagem (19,20). Variações alternativas do aparelho de distribuição da água de lavagem capazes de lidar com partículas grossas são também descritos.
