Abstract
"MéTODO, CODIFICADOR DE FALA, ELEMENTO DE INFRA-ESTRUTURA E UNIDADE DE ASSINANTE CONFIGURADOS PARA QUANTIZAR INFORMAçõES SOBRE UM PARâMETRO DE FALA; BEM COMO, MéTODO E CODIFICADOR DE FALA CONFIGURADO PARA QUANTIZAR INFORMAçõES SOBRE UM PARâMETRO DE FASE DE FALA". Um método e um equipamento para quantizar preditivamente a fala com voz inclui um gerador de parâmetros e um quantizador. O gerador de parâmetros está configurado para extrair parâmetros a partir de frames de fala preditiva tal como fala com voz e para transformar as informações extraídas para uma representação no domínio da freq³ência. O quantizador está configurado para subtrair uma soma ponderada dos parâmetros para frames anteriores a partir do parâmetro para o frame atual. O quantizador está configurado para quantizar o valor da diferença. Um extrator de protótipos pode ser adicionado para primeiro extrair um protótipo de período de pitch (tom ou tonalidade da fala) a ser processado pelo gerador de parâmetros.
