Abstract

"CORDãO DE AçO REVESTIDO DE ZINCO COM RESISTêNCIA APERFEIçOADA à FADIGA". A presente invenção proporciona um cordão de aço (16) adaptado para o reforço de elastómeros termoplásticos, o qual compreende mais de um fio (18, 20). Cada fio compreende dois ou mais filamentos de aço (22, 24, 26, 28). Pelo menos alguns dos filamentos de aço são dotados de um revestimento de zinco (40), revestimento de zinco (40) este caracterizado pelo fato de que possui uma espessura menor que dois micrómetros e pelo fato de que uma camada de zinco-aço (42) em forma de liga está presente entre o revestimento de zinco e o aço.
