Abstract

"GERAçãO E IMPLEMENTAçãO DE UM PROTOCOLO E UMA INTERFACE DE COMUNICAçãO PARA TRANSFERêNCIA DE SINAL COM ALTA TAXA DE DADOS". Uma interface de dados para transferência de dados digitais entre um host e um cliente através de uma via de comunicação, usando estruturas de pacotes ligadas para formar um protocolo de comunicações para comunicar um conjunto pré-selecionado de dados digitais de controle e apresentação. O protocolo de sinal é usado por controladores de link configurados para gerar, transmitir e receber pacotes formando o protocolo de comunicações e para formar dados digitais em um ou mais tipos de pacotes de dados, com pelo menos um residindo no dispositivo host e estando acoplado ao cliente através da via de comunicação. A interface propicia um mecanismo de transferência de dados de alta velocidade, bidirecional, de baixa potência e eficaz em termos de custo através de um link de dados de curto alcance do tipo "serial", que se presta à implementação com conectores miniatura e cabos flexíveis finos, os quais são especialmente úteis para conexão de elementos de display tais como micro-displays de uso pessoal (wearable) para computadores portáteis e dispositivos de comunicação sem fio.
