Abstract
"ZIRCÈNIO ESTABILIZADO COM ìTRIA COM CONDUTIVIDADE TéRMICA REDUZIDA". Revestimento com barreira térmica (TBC) (26) para um componente (10) planejado para uso em um ambiente hostil, tal como a turbina de superliga, componentes de combustor e amplificador de um motor de turbina a gás. O TBC (26) é formado de zircónio que é parcialmente estabilizado com ítria (YSZ), preferivelmente não mais do que 3 pesos percentuais de ítria, e no qual um ou mais óxidos metálicos adicionais são ligados para aumentar os defeitos cristalográficos e deformações da treliça nos grãos de TBC e/ou formar precipitados de zircónio e/ou composto(s) de zircónio e/ou ítria e o(s) óxido(s) metálico(s) adicional(is), cuja inclusão reduz a condutividade térmica do YSZ para níveis menores do que 6-8% do YSZ convencional. As melhoras são particularmente consideradas para o TBC tendo uma estrutura granular colunar, tal como esse depositado por EBPVD e outras técnicas de PVD.
