Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA LICENCIAR APLICATIVOS EM DISPOSITIVOS SEM FIO ATRAVéS DE UMA REDE SEM FIO". Trata-se de um sistema e um método para controlar aplicativos em um ou mais dispositivos sem fio (12), em que cada dispositivo sem fio (12) está em comunicação seletiva com um ou mais servidores de gerenciamento de aplicativos (16 e 30) através de uma rede sem fio (40). Cada dispositivo sem fio (12) tem um ou mais aplicativos residentes seletivamente executáveis (82), e pelo menos um aplicativo exige uma licença válida (84) para cada execução e, quando da tentativa de execução de um aplicativo (82), o dispositivo sem fio (12) determina se uma licença (84) está presente (92). Se uma licença (84) não estiver presente, o dispositivo sem fio (12) induz seletivamente (102), ou automaticamente ou com a orientação do usuário do dispositivo sem fio (12), um servidor de gerenciamento de aplicativos (16 ou 30) à transmissão de uma licença (84), recebe (108) a licença transmitida (84), e instala (110) a licença no dispositivo sem fio (12) de forma que o aplicativo (82) seja novamente licenciado e executável.
