Abstract

"MéTODOS E APARELHO PARA GERENCIAR SOFTWARE SEGURO PARA UM DISPOSITIVO SEM FIO". Um sistema e método para criar, distribuir, instalar e executar em segurança recursos selecionados de software em dispositivos sem fio combina três tipos diferentes de licenças, uma licença de validação, uma licença para o gerenciamento dos direitos digitais (DRM), e uma licença de recursos com uma aplicação de software. Cada uma dessas três licenças funciona independentes uma da outra, em que a licença de validação ajuda a impedir que código malicioso execute em dispositivos sem fio, a licença DRM impede cópia não autorizada da aplicação de software e a licença de recursos ativa ou desativa em segurança recursos específicos da aplicação de software. O sistema também permite que o dispositivo sem fio desembrulhe uma aplicação de software protegida por DRM, para validar a aplicação de software, fazer cumprir as regras de uso DRM e executar recursos selecionados da aplicação de software.
