Abstract
"USO DE CARDIOTROFINA EM DOENçAS DO FìGADO". A presente invenção refere-se ao uso de cardiotrofina em doenças do fígado. A invenção descreve a expressão maior de cardiotrofina (CT-1) durante o processo de regeneração hepática coincidindo com proliferação máxima de hepatócitos e o papel da CT-1 como uma estimuladora de regeneração hepática. Ainda, ela descreve o papel hepatoprotetor da CT-1 em vários modelos de dano agudo ao fígado. A importância de usar CT-1 na fabricação de composições para uso no tratamento de hepatopatias é demonstrada. A invenção descreve tal uso em várias formas e métodos, incluindo a proteína recombinante e o uso das seq³ências de gene que codificam para CT-1.
