Abstract

"TUBO FLEXìVEL PARA UTILIZAçãO NO TRANSPORTE DE FLUIDOS". Um tubo flexível (1) para transporte de petróleo e gás em diversas profundidades do mar tem uma ou mais camadas de reforço para pressão e tração (5, 6, 7, 8) que protegem uma carcaça (3) posicionada internamente ao revestimento e circundada por um revestimento interno (4). As camadas de reforço para pressão (5, 6) são compostas de elementos sólidos na maneira usual, intertravados reciprocamente e torcidos sobre o tubo flexível em um ângulo de passo relativamente pequeno. Uma vez que as camadas de reforço para tração (7, 8) são arranjadas mais externas sobre o tubo flexível, elas são vulneráveis a impactos externos tais como golpes ou choques que podem danificar o reforço para tração, se uma camisa externa (9) não é fornecida ao redor do tubo flexível. Para minimizar as conseq³ências de impactos aplicados externamente sobre as camadas de reforço para tração (7, 8) os elementos de reforço para tração destas camadas são formados por filamentos tais como fios ou arames que são urdidos, trançados, fiados ou emaranhados uns nos outros. Em conexão com a montagem do reforço para tração de acordo com a invenção, ele pode ser moldado de maneira vantajosa sobre uma terminação extrema.
