Abstract

"DESCONTAMINAçãO E DESGERMINAçãO EM MASSA DE MATERIAIS EM UM AMBIENTE DE VAPOR SATURADO SUBATMOSFéRICO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método e aparelho para reduzir significativamente a carga biológica de produtos de consumo tais como os produtos alimentícios, os condimentos, os frutos, os produtos botânicos, os ingredientes de cosméticos, os barris, os estrados, os engradados, as rações para pássaros e os produtos medicinais. O método envolve aplicar uma corrente contínua de vapor saturado a um material em uma câmara de redução de carga biológica vedada (2). A corrente contínua de vapor saturado é criada dentro da câmara (2) correlacionando uma temperatura desejada para pressão com base na utilização de Tabelas de Vapor Saturado. O aparelho inclui uma câmara de redução de biocarga (2), um controlador de temperatura (10), um sistema de injeção de ar (5), um sistema de injeção de vapor (6), e um sistema de evacuação (7).
