Abstract
"MéTODO DE REDUZIR óXIDO DE METAL NO ESTADO SóLIDO EM UMA CéLULA ELETROLìTICA; E CéLULA ELETROLìTICA QUE REDUZ UM óXIDO DE METAL NO ESTADO SóLIDO". Trata-se de um método de redução de óxido de metal, tal como titânia em estado sólido em uma célula eletrolítica. A célula eletrolítica inclui um ânodo, um cátodo e um eletrólito fundido. o eletrólito inclui cátions de metal que podem reduzir quimicamente o óxido de metal. o óxido de metal em estado sólido é imerso no eletrólito. O método inclui uma etapa de operar a célula em um potencial que fique acima do potencial no qual os cátions do metal possam reduzir quimicamente o depósito de óxido de metal como o metal no cátodo, por onde o metal reduz quimicamente o óxido de metal.
