Abstract

"ANEL DE ANULOPLASTIA DE VáLVULA MITRAL QUE TEM UM ABAULAMENTO POSTERIOR". A presente invenção refere-se a um anel de anuloplastia para válvula cardíaca mitral que tem um abaulamento posterior que se conforma a um aspecto posterior anormal do anel tubular mitral. O anel pode ser geralmente oval tendo um eixo maior e um eixo menor, no qual o abaulamento posterior pode ser centralizado ao longo do eixo menor ou deslocado em uma seção posterior. O anel pode ser substancialmente plano ou pode incluir abaulamentos para cima de qualquer lado do abaulamento posterior. O anel pode incluir um corpo de anel circundado por uma bainha de tecido permeável à sutura, e o corpo de anel pode ser formado de uma pluralidade de elementos anel concêntricos. O anel é semi-rígido e o abaulamento posterior rígido o suficiente para suportar deformação uma vez implantado e submetido a tensões fisiológicas normais.
