Abstract

"FOLHA DE LIGA DE MAGNéSIO E SUA PRODUçãO". Processo para produção de fita de liga de magnésio, apropriada para uso na produção de folha de liga de magnésio, por tratamento térmico e redução de laminação, envolve a fusão da liga de magnésio como fita, usando uma instalação de fusão de rolo duplo. Na fusão, são controladas a espessura e temperatura da fita que sai por entre os rolos da instalação, pelo que a fita possui uma microestrutura caracterizada por uma fase primária possuindo uma forma selecionada dentre a forma deformada dendrítica, dendrítica de eqüieixo e uma mistura de formas dendrítica deformada e de eqüieixo. A fita resultante é apropriada para produção de material em folha por aplicação de um tratamento térmico de homogeneização, seguido por laminação e recozimento.
