Abstract

PRODUÇÃO LIMITANTE DE ÁCIDO ACÉTICO NO PROCESSO DE ODH DE ETANO. A presente revelação se refere a limitar a produção de ácido acético em um processo de desidrogenação oxidativa para converter etano em etileno. O processo de desidrogenação oxidativa inclui alimentar ácido acético, juntamente com etano e oxigênio em um reator de desidrogenação oxidativa em que o contato com um catalisador leva à conversão do etano em etileno e ácido acético. Ao incluir ácido acético na alimentação, a quantidade de ácido acético produzida pode ser limitada e a razão de etileno produzido para etano consumido pode aumentar.
