Abstract
"PRóTESE CARDìACA IMPLANTáVEL, E DISPOSITIVO AUXILIAR PASSIVO PARA AUMENTAR A CONTRATILIDADE DO MIOCáRDIO DE UM CORAçãO NATURAL". A presente invenção inclui um revestimento metálico sobre porções da prótese (10) para aprimorar a aceitabilidade global do dispositivo a ser implantado (10) ou tecido/suturas utilizados para implantar a prótese. O metal preferido é prata, o qual é aplicado a superfícies que são expostas ao tecido do coração. As porções tratadas com prata destes dispositivos inibem ou reduzem enormemente a formação de colónias de bactérias causadoras de endocardite sem causar impacto na biocompatibilidade global do dispositivo. é descrito um dispositivo passivo de ajuda, elástico, na forma de uma cinta, a ser ajustado sobre os ventrículos, para aumentar a contralidade do miocárdio.
