Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>''MéTODO PARA PRODUçãO DE PLANTAS TRANSGêNCAS PARTENOCáRPICAS OU FêMEAS ESTéREIS E MéTODO PARA MELHORAR O BROTAMENTO E DESENVOLVIMENTO DE FRUTOS''<D>. Encontra-se descrito o uso da região promotora do gene DefH9 de Anthirrhinum majus ou de um promotor de um gene homólogo apresentando o mesmo padrão de expressão e as mesmas características para o estabelecimento de partenocarpia ou esterilidade feminina em plantas, para aumentar ginogênese ou para melhorar o brotamento e desenvolvimento de frutos. Também encontram-se descritas moléculas de DNA recombinantes compreendendo um promotor DefH9 em combinação com uma seq³ência de DNA que, mediante expressão em plantas, leva aos efeitos acima mencionados. Além disso, estão descritas células vegetais e plantas transformadas com essas meléculas de DNA recombinantes.
