Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO DE DETERMINAçãO DE LOCALIZAçãO DE VEìCULO DE ESTRADA DE FERRO E SISTEMA DE DETECçãO DE PROXIMIDADE PARA UM VEìCULO". Um sistema e método para impedir colisões entre veículos, tal como veículos de estrada de ferro, por trocar dados com relação à posição de linha dos veículos. Pelo uso de um banco de dados de linhas a bordo, o sistema provê uma indicação da distância entre veículos baseada não em linha de visão mas em distância de linha. Adicionalmente, um sistema e método para precisamente determinar a localização de veículos de estrada de ferro sem o uso de uma rede de indicadores ao longo da linha.
