Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA DETERMINAR UM PONTO DE OPERAçãO DE UM AMPLIFICADOR NãO LINEAR DE UM CANAL DE COMUNICAçãO" Para determinar o ponto de operação de um amplificador não linear (2) de um canal de comunicação (1), por exemplo de um transponder em um satélite de comunicação, um primeiro sinal de entrada (I~ 1~) é transmitido através do canal de comunicação (1) em um nível de potência (P~ 11~) que excita o amplificador não linear (2) em um modo de operação não linear. Em adição, um segundo sinal de entrada (i~ 2~) é transmitido através do canal de comunicação (1) simultaneamente com o primeiro sinal de entrada (I~ 1~). O segundo sinal de entrada (i~ 2~) é transmitido em um nível abaixo do nível do primeiro sinal de entrada (I~ 1~). Se a contribuição do segundo sinal de entrada (i~ 2~) à entrada total do amplificador não linear é pequena, o ponto de operação do amplificador não linear é determinado quase somente pelo primeiro sinal de entrada. Portanto, a potência de saída (P~ 02~) correspondendo ao segundo sinal (i~ 2~) é determinada mais fortemente pela potência de entrada (P~ 11~) do primeiro sinal (I~ 1~).
