Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO DE IMPRESSãO A JATO DE TINTA"<D>. Esta invenção refere-se a um processo que compreende (a) incorporar em um aparelho de impressão a jato de tinta (1) uma composição de revelação que compreende um veículo líquido e um revelador de cor; (2) uma composição de oxidação que compreende um veículo líquido e um agente de oxidação; (3) uma composição de coloração que compreende um veículo líquido e um acoplador de corante; e (4) uma composição de fixação que compreende um veículo líquido e um fixador; (b) fazer com que gotículas da composição de revelação sejam ejetadas sob um padrão de formação de imagem no substrato; (c) fazer com que gotículas da composição de oxidação sejam ejetadas sob um padrão de formação de imagem no substrato; (d) fazer com que gotículas da composição de coloração sejam ejetadas sob um padrão de formação de imagem no substrato; e (e) fazer com que gotículas da composição de fixação sejam ejetadas sob um padrão de formação de imagem no substrato; processo este que resulta em pelo menos algumas porções do substrato que suporta imagens compreendendo todas as quatro composições, isto é, a composição de revelação, a composição de oxidação, a composição de coloração e a composição de fixação, as ditas porções formando uma imagem impressa. Modalidades específicas da presente invenção referem-se à produção de tons contínuos e escala de cinza em imagens mediante (1) controle do tempo em que reações de formação de cores são extintas rapidamente através de controle do período de tempo entre deposição dos líquidos formadores de cor e deposição do líquido de fixação; (2) controle do grau de reações de formação de cores por meio de limitação da quantidade de um dos líquidos de formação de cores; ou (3) controle de tamanho dos pixels através de controle de disposição de gotas nas áreas de sobreposição de gotas de líquidos formadores de cor.
