Abstract
"MEDINDO A ESPESSURA DE MATERIAIS" Trata-se de um radar é usado para medir não só o nível de escória (3) sobre o aço em estado de fusão (2), mas também sua espessura. A medição é usada para calcular o volume de escória (3), e, por sua vez a proporção de aditivos para tratamento da escória. Os dados de tempo de percurso são usados para identificar picos que representam as distâncias das superfícies da escória (3) e da superfície do aço (2) subjacente. O conceito é aplicável a outros materiais de composição diferente, e particularmente no caso de o material subjacente ser relativamente mais condutor do que o material sobrejacente.
