Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO E PROCESSO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE UM MATERIAL CONTAMINADO COM HIDROCARBONETOS". A presente invenção se refere a uma composição para o tratamento de materiais contaminados com compostos de hidrocarbonetos a qual compreende um componente de proteína, um agente para a formação de volume e uma cultura microbial capaz de metabolizar os hidrocarbonetos contaminantes. A composição é misturada com o material contaminado e absorve ou adsorve os contaminantes desta forma impedindo a disseminação do mesmo para o meio ambiente. A cultura microbial permite biodegradação do contaminante desta forma eliminando qualquer risco ambiental associado com o material contaminado. O componente de proteína e agente para a formação de volume são preferivelmente de natureza orgânica e a cultura microbial pode ser natural ao material da proteína. A invenção também proporciona um método para o tratamento de um material contaminado com hidrocarbonetos utilizando a composição conforme descrita acima. A invenção é particularmente adequada para o tratamento de resíduos de perfuração contaminados.
