Abstract
produção de hidrocarboneto de baixa temperatura a partir de hidrocarbonetos oxigenados a presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de hidrocarbonetos a partir de reagentes de hidrocarboneto oxigenado, tais como glicerol, glicose, ou sorbitol. o método pode ocorrer na fase de vapor ou na fase de líquido condensado (de preferência na fase de líquido condensado). o método inclui as etapas de reação de água e um hidrocarboneto oxigenado solúvel em água tendo pelo menos dois átomos de carbono, na presença de um catalisador contendo metal. o catalisador contém um metal selecionado do grupo consistindo em metais de transição do grupo viiib, ligas destes, e misturas destes. estes metais são suportados em suportes que exibem acidez ou a reação é conduzida sob condições de fase líquida em phs acídicos. o método descrito permite a produção de hidrocarboneto pela reação de fase líquida de água com compostos oxigenados derivados de biomassa.
