Abstract

"PROCESSO DE PRODUçãO DE EMBALAGENS COM AGLOMERADO DE BAGAçO DE MANDIOCA BIODEGRADáVEL TERMOPLáSTICO". O presente invento apresenta o processo de obtenção de material termoplástico biodegradável a base de bagaço de mandioca, aglutinado com fécula de mandioca, destinado à confecção de embalagens biodegradáveis totalmente atóxicas, que após utilização, podem ser incorporadas à ração animal. O processo consiste, basicamente, em se aglomerar bagaço de mandioca aglutinada com uma pasta de fécula de mandioca em seu estado nativo, pré-gelatinizada ou não, que na presença de um solvente e submetido a uma fonte de calor, promove uma expansão associada a uma aglutinação entre as partículas do bagaço de mandioca.
