Abstract

"EXTRAçãO RáPIDA DE RNA DE CéLULAS E TECIDOS". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de extrair RNA de sistemas biológicos (células, fragmentos celulares, organelas, tecidos, órgãos ou organismos) no qual uma solução contendo RNA é contatada com um substrato ao qual o RNA pode ligar-se. O RNA é retirado do substrato aplicando-se pressão negativa. Nenhuma etapa de centrifugação excede a trinta segundos. Preferivelmente, o RNA é diluído antes da filtragem e uma ou mais etapas de lavagem podem ser empregadas para remover interferentes. Em um tal método, exceto para cisalhamento de DNA e etapas de secagem, a centrifugação não é empreendida durante a etapa de extração.
