Abstract

"SISTEMA E PROCESSO DE MEDIçãO DE FIRMEZA DE ROLO". Um sistema de medição de firmeza de rolo em linha é mostrado. Em uma modalidade, um elemento de contato é posicionado em uma posição fixa. Um rolo de material é posicionado entre o elemento de contato e uma superfície de suporte. Com base na quantidade de força exercida sobre o elemento de contato, a firmeza do rolo de material pode ser medida. Em uma modalidade alternativa, o elemento de contato aplica uma quantidade predeterminada de força sobre o rolo de material, mas é deslocado quando um rolo de material é posicionado entre o elemento de contato e a superfície de suporte. Nesta modalidade, a quantidade de deslocamento do elemento de contato é medida, o que permite o cálculo da firmeza de rolo. Em uma modalidade, um dispositivo de firmeza de rolo feito de acordo com a presente invenção pode ser posicionado no sistema para enrolamento de rolos e usado para se manterem os rolos de material sendo formados em faixas de firmeza de rolo pré-reguladas.
