Abstract

"BANDA DE RODAGEM DE PNEU COM ALMOFADAS ANTIFURO". Trata-se de um pneumático que tem uma banda de rodagem projetada principalmente para atividades fora-de-estrada, compreendendo grandes estrias. A banda de rodagem pode ser definida como tendo uma largura de banda de rodagem central que é dividida em uma zona de banda de rodagem central e zonas de banda de rodagem laterais opostas. O pneu também tem regiões de ombro que se estendem a partir de cada zona de banda de rodagem lateral. A banda de rodagem em si tem uma pluralidade de elementos de banda de rodagem separados por entalhes laterais nas zonas de banda de rodagem laterais. Os entalhes laterais nas zonas de banda de rodagem laterais são protegidos por almofadas alongadas, sendo que as almofadas se estendem a partir de entre um par dos elementos de banda de rodagem e para dentro de uma região de ombro do pneu. Cada almofada tem uma altura radial menor do que os elementos de banda de rodagem adjacentes e tem uma largura de base maior do que 50% da largura das ranhuras laterais.
