Abstract

"SISTEMAS PARA UNIFICAR SINTONIZADORES DE MULTIMìDIA HETEROGêNEOS". Um sistema para unificar sintonizadores de multimídia heterogêneos é descrito. O sistema é capaz de produzir uma formação de canal unificada e coordenar múltiplos sintonizadores diversos para executar tarefas de multimídia associadas com a formação unificada. Em uma implementação, a política de alocação do sintonizador permite a atribuição do sintonizador em segredo e a troca de sintonizador instantânea de modo que a experiência de usuário é total, a qualidade de acesso é continuamente otimizada, e sintonizadores com a largura de banda maior são mantidos disponíveis.
