Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODOS PARA APLICAçãO DE UMA CINTA EM TORNO DE UM FEIXE DE OBJETOS". Aparelho e métodos para aplicação de cintas (102) em torno de um feixe de objetos pela aplicação de uma força variável para esticar a cinta em torno do feixe de objetos e a seguir acionando uma série de cames (502) para controlar a vedação da cinta (102) em torno do feixe de objetos. A cinta (102) é ligada junta pela inserção de um elemento de aquecimento (510) entre as extremidades da cinta para ativar o adesivo nas mesmas. A máquina de cinta (100) para realizar o método acima é configurada com uma unidade de alimentação e tensão (400) configurada para fornecer uma trajetória de cinta 'no formato em V' simplificada que reduz a flexão da cinta, reduz fricção na cinta, e minimiza outras dificuldades de alimentação de cinta. A máquina (100) é adicionalmente compreendida de um conjunto de trilha configurada com um canal de trilha (700) tendo uma pluralidade de coberturas propendidas (708, 730). As coberturas (708, 730) são propendidas em uma posição fechada até que tensão seja aplicada na cinta, que força as coberturas (708, 730) a pivotarem abertas e liberarem a cinta em torno do feixe de objetos. A máquina (100) também é configurada com um mecanismo de cabeça de vedação (500) com uma série de cames seq³enciados cicloidais (502) para controlar a fixação, corte e vedação da cinta durante a operação de atar.
