Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO DE COMUNICAçãO SEM FIO PARA CONTROLE DE VELOCIDADES DE BITS DE DADOS PARA MANTER A QUALIDADE DE LINKS DE RáDIO". Sistema e método de comunicação sem fio para controle da velocidade de bits de dados atual de um link de rádio (RL) para manter a qualidade do RL. O sistema inclui uma rede central (CN), um controlador de rede central (RNC) e pelo menos uma unidade de transmissão e recepção sem fio (WTRU). O RL é estabelecido entre o RNC e a WTRU. O RNC estabelece velocidade de bits de dados garantida, velocidade de bits de dados máxima e velocidade de bits de dados atual associada ao RL. Quando o RNC verifica um evento que indica que a qualidade do RL deteriorou substancialmente, o RNC reduz o valor da velocidade de bits de dados atual. Em seguida, em processo de recuperação, caso não ocorra evento similar durante período de espera estabelecido, o RNC restabelece a velocidade de bits de dados atual de volta para a velocidade de bits de dados máxima.
