Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO ANTI-HELMìNTICA". A invenção se refere ao tratamento de infecções anti-helmínticas em animais e mais especificamente às composições que são eficazes contra parasitas que são resistentes a uma ampla variedade de tratamentos com medicamentos. Em um primeiro aspecto, a invenção provê uma composição sinergística, anti-helmíntica eficaz consistindo em pelo menos um composto selecionado de cada um dos seguintes grupos: lactonas macrocíclicas, benzimidazóis, salicilanilidas e imidazotiazóis além de um veículo terapeuticamente eficaz. Em um segundo aspecto, a invenção provê um processo para tratamento de infecções por parasitas em um animal, compreendendo administração ao mesmo, de uma quantidade sinergística anti-helmíntica eficaz de uma composição que consiste em pelo menos um composto selecionado de cada um dos grupos que se seguem: lactonas macrocíclicas, benzimidazóis, salicilanilidas e imidazotiazóis e veículo terapeuticamente eficaz. Em um terceiro aspecto, a presente invenção provê, adicionalmente, o uso de uma quantidade sinergística anti-helmíntica eficaz de uma composição que consiste em pelo menos um composto selecionado de cada um dos grupos que se seguem: lactonas macrocíclicas, benzimidazóis, salicilanilidas e imidazotiazóis e um veículo terapeuticamente aceitável, no tratamento de uma infecção por parasitas em um animal.
