Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA PRODUçãO DE UMA LIGA DE METAL SEMI-SóLIDA". Aparelho (10) para produção de liga de metal semi-sólida a partir de uma carga fundida inclui zonas de tratamento (12, 12.1 e 12.2), verticalmente alinhadas, as quais são providas com passagens verticalmente alinhadas definidas por uma pluralidade de tubos de fluxo (132) enrolados helicoidalmente, os quais são interdispersados entre bobinas de indução (130) enroladas helicoidalmente. Um recipiente (14) é montado sobre uma disposição de carregamento (20) que desloca uma primeira carga para cima para o interior da primeira zona de tratamento (12). Cargas sucessivas são introduzidas em uma maneira similar, através disso impulsionando a carga previamente introduzida para cima ao longo do conjunto de zonas (12, 12.1 e 12.2) até que a carga dianteira seja ejetada do topo do aparelho (10). A carga em cada zona é sujeita a resfriamento controlado e a um campo eletromagnético induzido. A resistência do campo e a taxa de resfriamento são controlados para impedir cristalização dendrítica e promover formação de cristal primária globular.
