Abstract
"ESQUEMAS DE TRANSMISSãO PARA SISTEMAS DE COMUNICAçãO MULTI-ANTENA UTILIZANDO MODULAçãO MULTIPORTADORA". São providos esquemas de transmissão de piloto e dados para sistemas de comunicação multi-antena utilizando modulação multiportadora. A multiplexação de sub-banda é usada para evitar a interferência resultante da transmissão de múltiplos sinais simultaneamente a partir de múltiplas antenas. M sub-bandas utilizáveis são inicialmente dispostas para formar múltiplos grupos de sub-bandas, com cada grupo incluindo um subconjunto diferente das sub-bandas utilizáveis (412 ). Cada uma de T antenas transmissoras recebe um ou possivelmente mais grupos de sub-bandas para transmissão de piloto e tipicamente um grupo de sub-bandas para transmissão de dados (414) . O piloto e os dados podem ser a seguir transmitidos a partir de cada antena através das sub-bandas designadas para tal antena para transmissão de piloto e dados (420) . Para cada antena transmissora, a potência de transmissão para cada sub-banda designada pode ser escalonada mais alta de tal forma que a totalidade da potência de transmissão total disponível para a antena seja usada para transmissão. Os piloto e/ou dados podem ser transmitidos simultaneamente a partir de todas as T antenas através de todas as sub-bandas utilizáveis sem causar interferência mútua.
