Abstract
DIVERSIDADE DE TRANSMISSãO E ESPALHAMENTO ESPACIAL PARA UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO DE MúLTIPLAS ANTENAS COM BASE EM OFDM Uma entidade de transmissão de múltiplas antenas transmite dados para uma entidade receptora de única - ou de múltiplas antenas utilizando (1) um modo direcionado para orientar a transmissão de dados para a entidade de recepção ou (2) um modo pseudo-aleatório de transmissão direcionada (PRTS) para tornar aleatória os canais efetivos observados pela transmissão de dados através das sub-bandas. O modo PRTS pode ser utilizado para se alcançar a diversidade de transmissão ou espalhamento espacial. Para diversidade de transmissão, a entidade de transmissão utiliza diferentes vetores de direcionamento pseudo-aleatórios através das sub-bandas mas o mesmo vetor de direcionamento através de todo um pacote para cada sub-banda. A entidade de recepção não precisa ter conhecimento dos vetores de direcionamento pseudo-aleatórios ou realizar qualquer processamento especial. Para o espalhamento espacial, a entidade de transmissão utiliza diferentes vetores de direcionamento pseudo-aleatórios através das sub-bandas e diferentes vetores de direcionamento através do pacote para cada sub-banda. Apenas as entidades de transmissão e recepção conhecem os vetores de direcionamento utilizados para a transmissão de dados.
