Abstract
"PROCESSO, E PLANTA, PARA PROCESSAR GáS NATURAL DE MODO A GERAR HIDROCARBONETOS DE CADEIA MAIS LONGA". Gás natural é reagido com vapor para gerar monóxido de carbono e hidrogênio em um primeiro reator catalítico (16); a mistura de gás resultante é usada para realizar a síntese de Fischer-Tropsch em um segundo reator catalítico (26). Após resfriar a corrente de gás resultante em um trocador térmico (29), a corrente de gás restante (30) é resfriada uma segunda vez por diminuição de sua pressão (32), e o líquido condensado resultante é separado (33) da fase de gás restante. Isto aumenta a produção de condensado. A segunda etapa de resfriamento pode utilizar uma turbina (32), ou um tubo de vórtice (40), ou uma válvula reguladora.
