Abstract

Patente de Invenção: "PROCESSO PARA PREPARAçãO DE DIDEOXII-NOSINA USANDO ENZIMA DE ADENOSINA DESAMINASE". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de fabricação de didanosina (ddI), incluindo as etapas de: (a) obtenção de uma enzima que expressa a atividade de desaminase de ddA; (b) imobilização da enzima sobre um suporte insolúvel; (c) contato da enzima com uma solução de dideoxiadenosina (ddA) de pelo menos cerca de 4% em peso/volume de ddA em água por um período de tempo e sob certas condições, de modo a produzir uma solução de ddl; e (d) isolamento da ddl da solução de ddl. Opcionalmente, o licor-mãe de ddl é reutilizado em subseqüentes processamentos para aperfeiçoar o rendimento.
