Abstract
"DERIVAçãO DE NEURÈNIOS DOPAMINéRGICOS TERMINALMENTE DIFERENCIADOS DE CéLULAS TRONCOS EMBRIÈNICAS HUMANAS". Compreendendo métodos aperfeiçoados para a produção eficaz de células neuroprogenitoras e células neurais diferenciadas, tais como neurónios dopaminérgicos e neurónios serotonérgicos de células tronco pluripotentes, por exemplo, células tronco embriónicas humanas. Através da utilização dos métodos apresentados, foram isoladas populações de células contendo uma grande proporção de células positivas para a tirosina hidroxilase, um marcador específico para neurónios dopaminérgicos. As células neuroprogenitoras e as células terminalmente diferenciadas da presente invenção podem ser geradas em grandes quantidades, e portanto podem servir como uma excelente fonte para a terapia de substituição de células em distúrbios neurolócicos, tal como o mal de Parkinson.
