Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA AUTENTICAR OBJETOS". é revelado um método de autenticar objetos. Pelo menos um objeto tendo uma região de impressão com material impresso nela contido é fornecido. O material impresso da região de impressão inclui uma camada de indícios não visíveis que emite pelo menos um comprimento de onda de luz fora de uma faixa visível de um espectro eletromagnético quando estimulado com radiação eletromagnética. Uma imagem óptica do objeto é gravada com um dispositivo de imagem para tornar os indícios não visíveis percebidos pelo olho humano. A imagem percebida é então comparada contra indícios de autenticação esperados para autenticar o objeto. Um sistema para autenticar objetos inclui pelo menos um dispositivo de imagem para gravar imagens ópticas de objetos tendo uma camada de indícios não visíveis e para tornar os indícios não visíveis percebidos ao olho humano. O sistema também inclui um sistema de autenticação central em comunicação com o dispositivo de imagem para receber imagens ópticas gravadas pelo dispositivo de imagem.
