Abstract
"CONSTRUCTOS DE DNA E MéTODOS PARA MELHORAR A PRODUçãO DE PLANTAS TRANSGêNICAS COMERCIALMENTE VIáVEIS". A presente invenção refere-se a um gene marcador selecionável negativo não-letal no DNA do esqueleto do vetor de um plasmídeo de DNA usado para transformar células de plantas. Estes transgenes são projetados para expressar um produto gênico não-letal em células de plantas que contém o DNA do esqueleto do vetor do plasmídeo de DNA. Os produtos gênicos do gene marcador selecionável negativo não-letal estão envolvidos nas vias de biossíntese de hormónio de planta, diversão de substrato de hormónio de planta, degradação de hormónio de planta, sinalização de hormónio de planta ou interferência metabólica. O uso destes plasmídeos de DNA para transformar células de plantas provê uma melhorada produção de plantas comercialmente viáveis.
