"CéLULA VEGETAL TRANSFORMADA, PLANTA, SEMENTE PRODUZIDA POR UMA PLANTA TRANSFORMADA, MéTODOS DE PRODUZIR UMA PLANTA TRANSFORMADA DE INDUZIR A TOLERáNCIA E/OU RESISTêNCIA AUMENTADAS A TENSãO AMBIENTAL EM COMPARAçãO COM UMA PLANTA DO TIPO SELVAGEM NãO TRANSFORMADA CORRESPONDENTE EM UMA CéLULA VEGETAL, CASSETE DE EXPRESSãO VEGETAL, MOLéCULA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO ISOLADO, POLIPEPTìDEO ISOLADO, E, ANTICORPO". No geral, esta invenção diz respeito a células vegetais e plantas transformadas que compreendem um gene inativado ou regulado negativamente que resulta na tolerância e/ou resistência aumentadas à tensão ambiental em comparação com células do tipo selvagem não transformadas e métodos de produzir tais células vegetais ou plantas. No geral, esta invenção diz respeito a células vegetais transformadas com atividade metabólica alterada em comparação com uma célula vegetal do tipo selvagem não transformada correspondente, em que a atividade metabólica é alterada por um gene inativado ou regulado negativamente e resulta na tolerância e/ou resistência aumentadas a uma tensão ambiental como em comparação com uma célula vegetal do tipo selvagem não transformada correspondente, métodos de produzir, triar e reproduzir, tais células vegetais ou plantas e método de detectar tensão em células vegetais ou plantas.
