Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A PURIFICAçãO DE áGUA RESIDUAL DE COQUERIA". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a purificação de água residual de coqueria, que é carregada com compostos de nitrogênio, cianetos e sulfetos. De acordo com a invenção, a água residual de coqueria flui através de um reator (3) integrado em um circuito de líquido (2) e que contém pelo menos um tubo flexível de membrana permeável a gás (5) solicitado pelo lado interno por um gás pressurizado (4) contendo oxigênio. No lado externo do tubo flexível de membrana (5) percorrido por líquido, é mantido um biofilme (6), em cuja região interna (7), rica em oxigênio em virtude da permeabilidade a gás do tubo flexível de membrana (5), ocorre uma nitrificação seletiva de compostos contendo nitrogênio contidos na água residual para formar nitratos e, ao mesmo tempo, em uma região externa pobre em oxigênio (8) do biofilme (6) é efetuada uma denitrificação de nitratos para formar nitrogênio elementar.
