Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA CINTAR TORAS". Descreve-se um aparelho para empacotar toras, para empacotar toras usando uma torre ou uma lançadeira. A torre ou lançadeira pode ser usada em conjunto com um transportador de empacotamento. O sistema de torre pode incluir uma torre giratória com pelo menos um grampo móvel para posições diferentes no aparelho, uma estação de toras na qual toras são recebidas, e um ejetor de toras para ejetar toras da estação de toras nos grampos da torre. As toras podem ser ejetadas da estação de toras, através do material de empacotamento, e para dentro dos grampos da torre. Em outras modalidades, um transportador de empacotamento insere material de empacotamento entre uma torre e uma estação de toras na qual as toras são recebidas. As toras em tais modalidades podem passar da estação de toras para a lançadeira através do material de empacotamento.
