Abstract
"SISTEMAS E MéTODOS MELHORADOS DE CODIFICAçãO DE áUDIO USANDO ACOPLAMENTO DE COMPONENTE ESPECTRAL E REGENERAçãO DE COMPONENTE ESPECTRAL". A presente invenção refere-se a um codificador de áudio descarta componentes espectrais de um sinal de entrada e usa um acoplamento de sinal para a redução das exigências de capacidade de informação de um sinal codificado. Um acoplamento de canal representa componentes espectrais selecionados de múltiplos canais de sinais em uma forma compósita. Um decodificador de áudio sintetiza componentes espectrais para substituição dos componentes espectrais descartados, e gera componentes espectrais para sinais de canal individuais a partir do sinal de canal acoplado. O codificador provê fatores de escala no sinal codificado que melhoram a eficiência do decodificador para a geração de sinais de saída que substancialmente preservam a energia espectral dos sinais de entrada originais.
