Abstract

"SISTEMA DE RASTREAMENTO E MéTODO ASSOCIADO". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de rastreamento (10) para rastrear ativos móveis (16) e vários métodos para uso do sistema. O sistema de rastreamento inclui um dispositivo de monitoração (22), uma web de informação de rastreamento (20), uma web de comunicação de dados (18), uma etiqueta rastreadora (12) e um servidor da informação de rastreamento (14). A etiqueta rastreadora usa tecnologia de GPS. O servidor da informação de rastreamento provê instruções programadas para a etiqueta rastreadora em mensagens através de um sistema de troca de mensagens. Em uma outra modalidade, o dispositivo de monitoração fica em comunicação com a constelação de satélite de lrídio e a informação de rastreamento é exibida para o assinante quando o assinante está substancialmente em qualquer lugar no mundo, preferencialmente através da Internet (36).
