Abstract
"MéTODOS DE ANáLISE DE UMA REGIãO DE áCIDO NUCLEICO MARCADORA, DE DETECçãO OU MONITORAçãO DE UMA POPULAçãO CLONAL DE CéLULAS EM UM MAMìFERO, DE DIAGNóSTICO E/OU DE MONITORAçãO DE UMA CONDIçãO DE DOENçA DE MAMìFERO E DE ENRIQUECIMENTO DE UMA POPULAçãO DE MOLéCULAS DE áCIDO NUCLEICO EM UMA AMOSTRA BIOLóGICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de caracterização de uma região de ácido nucleico e, mais particularmente, a um método de análise de uma região de ácido nucleico marcadora. O método da presente invenção baseia-se na identificação de uma ou de ambas as regiões de ácido nucleico flanqueando uma região de ácido nucleico marcadora e proporciona um meio de análise de uma região de ácido nucleico marcadora que é característica de uma população clonal de células. O método da presente invenção é útil no contexto de permitir uma variedade de aplicações incluindo, mas não limitadas a, monitoração da progressão de uma condição caracterizada pela presença de uma população clonal de células (tais como condições neoplásicas), monitoração dos níveis de uma ou mais populações clonais de células, predição da possibilidade de uma reincidência de um indivíduo de um estado remissivo para um estado doentio, para avaliar a efetividade de drogas terapêuticas existentes e/ou agentes terapêuticos novos e identificação da presença de uma região marcadora.
