"COMPOSIçãO CERMET, E, MéTODO PARA PROTEGER UMA SUPERFìCIE METáLICA". Uma composição cermet e método para sua manufatura representada pela fórmula (PQ)(RS) compreendendo: uma fase cerâmica (PQ) e uma fase ligante (RS) nas quais P é um metal selecionado do grupo consistindo de Al, Si, Mg, Ca, Y, Fe, Mn, elementos do Grupo IV, do Grupo V, do Grupo VI, e suas misturas, Q é óxido, R é um metal base selecionado do grupo consistindo de Fe, Ni, Co, Mn e suas misturas, S consiste essencialmente de pelo menos um elemento selecionado de Cr, Al e Si e pelo menos um elemento de molhamento reativo selecionado do grupo consistindo de Ti, Zr, Hf, Ta, Sc, Y, La, e Ce.
