Abstract

"IDENTIFICAçãO DE OPERADOR DE REDE PARA REDES DE COMUNICAçãO CDMA". Um identificador de operador de rede é utilizado para identificar de maneira única cada operador de rede para suportar roaming internacional. O identificador de operador de rede inclui (1) um Código de País Móvel (MCC) que identifica o país ao qual um operador de rede pertence e (2) um Código de Operador de Rede (NOC) , que pode ser um Código de Rede Móvel (MNC), que distingue operadores de rede dentro de um dado MCC. A cada operador de rede é atribuída uma combinação única de MCC e NOC que identifica de maneira distinta o operador de rede, e o identificador de operador de rede pode ser armazenado em uma única entrada em uma lista de roaming preferida. As estações base de cada operador de rede difundem o identificador de operador de rede em mensagens de sinalização. Uma estação móvel recebe uma mensagem de sinalização de uma estação base, obtém o identificador de operador de rede, busca em sua lista de roaming preferida uma entrada com o identificador de operador de rede e determina se a rede CDMA atual é ou não acessível.
