Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PREDIçãO DE DISTRIBUIçãO DE TAMANHO DE GRãO A PARTIR DO FORMATO DE UM CORPO SEDIMENTAR". As propriedades internas de um corpo sedimentar depositado com água podem ser determinadas a partir do formato do depósito. Um método compreende resolver equações relativas ao formato de um corpo sedimentar para o campo de fluxo que produziu o corpo e usar o campo de fluxo para resolução para as propriedades de corpo sedimentar em pelo menos um ponto no corpo. As propriedades de campo de fluxo incluem velocidade de fluxo, frações em volume de sedimento em suspensão, tempo de deposição, e altura de fluxo.
