Abstract

"CONSULTA AO úLTIMO RAMO PARA RECEPTORES RAKE". Técnicas para a consulta de ramos em um canal (que são ramos para os quais os símbolos devem ser combinados) para determinar o último ramo no canal. A medida que cada ramo é consultado, o ramo consultado compara sua informação de estado com a informação de estado para o canal para determinar se ou não é o último ramo no canal. Se o ramo consultado for considerado o último ramo então (1) a informação de estado de canal é atualizada com a informação de estado de ramo consultado, e (2) os símbolos fornecidos pelo ramo consultado podem ser marcados como estando prontos para processamento subseqüente. Isso evita o armazenamento de símbolos demodulados por uma duração de tempo que é mais longa do que a maior diferença esperada entre os componentes de múltiplos percursos de chegada mais cedo e mais tarde.
