Abstract

"PROCEDIMENTO PARA FABRICAR UMA TIRA DE METAL FUNDIDA E DISPOSITIVO CORRESPONDENTE PARA FUNDIR, COMPREENDENDO DOIS CILINDROS". A presente invenção se refere a um procedimento para fabricar uma tira de metal fundida com um dispositivo de fundição compreendendo dois cilindros. Este último consiste de dois cilindros de fundição e duas placas laterais que, conjuntamente, formam um compartimento para massa fundida e uma fenda de fundição, sendo que a massa fundida de metal é conduzida para dentro do compartimento para massa fundida, formando, dentro do compartimento para massa fundida, um banho de massa fundida com a superfície do banho aberta para cima, e que uma tira de metal fundida sai do compartimento para massa fundida através da fenda de fundição. Uma região de superfície limitada (30) é formada na superfície do banho por meio da atuação de pelo menos um jato de gás (20, 20a, 20b), para recolher as partículas estranhas à massa fundida. Para evitar a entrada de partículas estranhas à massa fundida na superfície ou na região próxima à superfície da tira fundida a presente invenção propõe que pelo menos um jato de gás (20, 20a, 20b) seja orientado para a superfície do banho, mantendo-se uma distância entre o eixo do jato de gás (21) e a linha de contato (10, 11) da superfície do banho com os cilindros de fundição (1, 2).
