Abstract
"MéTODO DE PREPARAçãO DE CATALISADOR PARA PRODUçãO DE áCIDO METACRìLICO". O objetivo da presente invenção é prover um método para preparo de um catalisador para produção de ácido metacrílico por oxidação catalítica em fase gasosa de metacroleína, isobutil aldeído ou ácido isobutírico, com alto rendimento e alta seletividade. O método para preparo de um catalisador para produção de ácido metacrílico por oxidação catalítica em fase gasosa de metacroleína, isobutil aldeído ou ácido isobutírico compreende: (a) uma etapa de blendagem dos compostos contendo qualquer elemento entre Mo, V, P, Cu, Cs ou NH~ 4~ com água, para preparar uma solução ou dispersão aquosa dos compostos (a partir daqui denominada pasta fluida ((incluindo as duas)); (b) uma etapa de secagem da pasta fluida obtida na etapa (a) para obter uma pasta fluida seca; (c) uma etapa de calcinação da pasta fluida seca obtida na etapa (b) para obtenção de uma substância calcinada; (d) uma etapa de filtragem da mistura obtida por blendagem da substância calcinada obtida na etapa (c) com água para separar a solução aquosa da matéria insolúvel em água, e (e) uma etapa de secagem da matéria insolúvel em água obtida na etapa (d) para obtenção de uma substância insolúvel em água seca.
